Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and there is also a guest bathroom with extra shower. The main bedroom, known as the ‘Lavender Room’, has a private entrance onto the outside deck, and spectacular views of the valley. The west wing bedroom has an en-suite with shower, and two single beds that can be joined if necessary. An additional two single beds in the loft, which can be separated from the lounge area by curtains, are ideal for the kids.
The open-plan lounge and dining area is tastefully decorated, equipped with satellite television and CD player, and leads onto the deck and outside dining area. Enjoy a bottle of the best South African red wine around the log fire or cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen. Tea, coffee and sugar are also provided.
The braai/barbeque area is situated near the sparkling swimming pool under a canopy of pine trees. Nearby, a wooden deck extends over the side of the valley and offers a magnificent venue for sundowners, but it is not for the faint hearted as it is quite a drop to the valley below!
